Well Happy New Year…

So it was a busy 2014; what with Weddings, Babies, Dogs and of course Boudoir, bit of a mad rush at the end but it was immense fun, if a little challenging at times to get it all done.

Congratulations to all of the above, each wedding very different and very special in their own way, and the weather was fabulous for each of the days, not bad for British weather

Prom Night Prom NIght

Prom Time – Always a special one for me, so exciting, these young beautiful ladies all dressed up for the event of the year, what wonderful memories they will have, not like my day with a packet of crisps and some cheesy 80’s Disco, not jealous at all!

The Children of 2014 – Always great fun to photograph as you can never tell them what to do you just have to see what happens and after a while you just get the shot

Then theirs the Dogs – A firm favourite of mine, love working with these and they are more unpredictable than children :-). I have this year had the pleasure of joining the Master Class Photography session my the UK’s Top Photographer, Andy Biggar. These days have been immensely fun for me and I have learnt so much and made some really wonderful friends, and are something I plan to continue with, you can never stop learning!

I ended this year on something a little different; Boudoir and with the permission of some of these ladies I am posting a couple of my favourites;

Boudior is something really special and is very popular and is fantastic for the self esteem, so even if you think, NO I can’t do that you can. The studio is a closed private set, with myself, a female photographer and dependant on what you book a makeup artist/stylist and assistant.

So what is 2015 holding for me….well I have a couple of Dog shoots, two Boudoirs to shoot in January/February, couple of Corporate Shoots in February and then the world is my mine as they say…so if you are interested in discussing any commissions then give me a call and we can discuss what you are looking for

Hopefully speak to you Soon

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Banyard

What a fabulous day – 21st June 2014, the wedding of Nalini & Mark

A massive congratulations to Mr & Mrs Banyard who got married at the most beautiful little church in Beoley, St Leonards and then Reception at the home of Nalini’s parents.

The chaps were all in their finest – kilts for the Groom, Ushers & Bestman and a few of the guests, the sun was shining all day, it was just the most beautiful day. Everyone was so lovely and I even managed to get the new Bride & Groom and Bestman and Ushers running through the fields at the side of their home…for me..it was a magazine moment. Thank you

Everyone was very accommodating and welcomed something different and it was worth it, even though they were picking the grass seeds out of their socks! We all had a good laugh, they are over tomorrow to see their photos so very excited!

Nalini & Mark are featured on my header for the Wedding page.

Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Greatrex

Well hello everyone this is the first post, it’s been a long time coming and it’s been a busy year so far;

I had the pleasure of  photographing my friend Lesley Stone, daughters’ wedding at Matara, Gloucestershire, back in April which was absolutely fabulous, what a beautiful couple and what a truly amazing venue. The weather was a little doubtful at the beginning and we had a quick shower during the service, but it didn’t dampen anyones spirits. Then just as they were proclaimed husband and wife the sun broke through the clouds, truly amazing.

It was a long day but immense fun, and a thank you to my assistant on the day Rebekah Howard, she ran around after me all day and kept everyone smiling and has a very keen eye for the staging shots so some of my images I have accredited to Rebekah as they are lovely

We got some wonderful shots and the weather managed to hold out even when the bride Katie-Jo put on her wellies to go across the fields, as you can see the sky was very dramatic that day and we did think we were in for a storm but it passed us by and the only storm was the party, I believe it went on into the wee hours!
